(vegan, plant-based protein, dairy-free, refined sugar-free)
2 cups fresh basil
2 cloves garlic
Handful of chopped spinach
¼ cup hemp hearts
⅓ cup olive oil
⅓ cup nutritional yeast
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions (makes 3 servings)
1. To your food processor, add fresh basil, garlic, chopped spinach, hemp hearts, olive oil and nutritional yeast.
2. Pulse on high until smooth, taking breaks to scrape pesto from sides of food processor with a rubber spatula
3. Add salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
